New Corporate Plan
Alongside all the changes that have already been introduced, our Board has recently approved a new five year Corporate Plan, covering 2016 to 2021.The two main aims, of the plan, are to see our organisation modernised and to find new ways to grow and diversify, despite these times of great uncertainty.
Our Board is very clear in wanting Arcon to remain independent, delivering high quality, value for money services and helping meet the North West’s wide range of housing needs.
Over the next five years, we plan to move from being a traditional housing association to a more dynamic and progressive organisation. Our modernisation will involve a raft of new, flexible working practices as well as a new IT system, an office move and rebranding.
We will continue to build new properties whilst investing in our existing homes and exploring stock rationalisation options. We will seek out partnership opportunities, to enhance the wellbeing of our customers. We aim to be an organisation that people are proud to work for.
As part of our Corporate Plan, we have in place a new Vision, namely:
‘To create a new dynamic, highly distinctive and independent regional housing group, that provides a variety of high quality services and offers different tenures to suit individual needs and aspirations’.
Alongside this, our core purpose or Mission is to:
- improve the quality of life for our customers
- protect and maintain an affordable housing offer
- develop a range of housing choices and personalised services
- be a recognised and progressive regionally based organisation.
- acquire and develop a diverse range of activities.
